Oxen are ready to Celebrate
Oxen are the back bone of farmers as they perform numerous exercise such as furrowing areas, transportation, farmer’s vehicles etc. Farmers treat oxen as their deity. On the second day of the celebration Diwali, the farmers brighten their oxen with color, wreath and little chimes etc. Ox enrichments and race competitions like occasions are oversee this day. They offer unusual food arranged with wheat and jaggery called “Lapasi” and revere the oxen to appear their gratitudes. The whole day is dedicated to God Krishna. Goverdhan Puja, Ox Puja and Annakut Mahotsav are celebrated on this day.
